Voodoo Pad 5 Link

Such a great couple of weeks for Mac applications. Between Marked 1.4, Keyboard Maestro 5.2, Path Finder 6 and now Voodoo Pad 5¹ the Mac software future is looking very good.

There is also a new version of Voodoo Pad for iOS. Both versions sync via Dropbox. That's a very compelling solution for complex notes.

Voodoo Pad 5 is a major update to the wiki-style notepad app and it is only $25 for a short time. It's looking more and more like a general purpose publishing system now.

I haven't touched Voodoo Pad in many years but I bought this update. All of Flying Meat's software is a tinkerers dream. Voodoo Pad 5 has several places to incorporate custom scripting and templating and it has always provided a feature rich AppleScript dictionary. Now there is native Markdown support too.

Voodoo Pad is not a notepad app. It's a wiki app. It is first in class at what it does.

I need a load of tutorials to get up to speed with everything now.
