What's Left Unsaid

I see value in the gaps. Sites that report on every rumor or fuzzy screenshot say little of importance but say a lot about their values. I pay close attention to what is left unsaid. I notice when a site does not review a heavily hyped app. I notice when they do not link to a popular story. Sometimes there's meaning behind the omission.1

I watch a speech and note the redirects and pauses. They tell a story. Occasionally they reveal weakness and dishonesty. Rarely do gaps reveal strength and conviction.

Look at the white space. There's usually something there.

  1. I think the sites I trust avoid reviews that are primarily negative. I also think a lot sites avoid rocking the boat.
