A lot of the TextMate convenience functions are making it into Sublime Text 2.1 The HyperlinkHelper is one that many people used and it's available in ST2 now through the Package Manager.

Select some text in a document and hit ctrl-CMD-shift-L to automatically insert the first Google search result url.

If you want to use it in MultiMarkdown too (default works in HTML, Markdown, Textile and LaTeX) then go into the HyperlinkHelper package folder and duplicate the "Markdown.sublime-settings" file. Rename it "MultiMarkdown.sublime-settings". Restart Sublime Text.
