I'm Not Smarter than Apple, and Most Likely Neither Are You
Yesterday, before Apple's announcement of a dividend and stock buy back, I tweeted this:
As an Apple share holder, I would not like a dividend. There's still a long way to go to secure long term success. That's what cash is for.

Of course, that's how I felt and how I still feel. But I'll readily admit, the people at Apple know what's best for Apple. I trust them with these decisions and that's why I'm a shareholder. When I bought Apple stock I went in knowing that I was holding for the long haul. I chose a company that I respected and gave them a bunch of my savings to do awesome things with.
I'm not an "investor". I'm an ordinary guy that realizes there are a lot of people better at investing, innovating and executing than I am. A great many of them work at Apple. Very few of them are writing about Apple.
