Damn Kids and their Keyboards

David Sparks points out that these keyboards increased his RSI. I agree with that.

I find it humorous how much everyone is talking about Mac keyboards lately. What was the tipping point? The Matias keyboard has been out for years. I used the Das Keyboard on Windows for almost two years.

First I used the Das in my home office until my wife — who shares an office with me — started shooting me the evil eye. I then took it to work. That was fine until eveyone around me¹ also started to comment and sigh.

Why all the negativity? It's loud. It feels great, but the thing sounds like I'm playing the spoons instead of typing. Maybe I have big hands. Maybe I have anger issues. I don't know. I just know that I prefer a friendly office environment over feeling like Hunter S. Thompson.
