Glassboard Keeps a Family in Touch Link

When my turn came to go with Dad to the hospital and keep everyone up to date, I remembered an app I’d used with friends at a conference many months back, Glassboard, which enables a small group to create a private social network in the form of a “board,” which is a bit like a chat room for a specific set of people.

Glassboard is one of my favorite multi-purpose sharing sites (previous review). I use it as a private Facebook, virtual meeting room, shared content and interview space. It’s so easy to setup a new Glassboard just for a few days or add new people to participate on a specific topic, it just makes sense for so many contexts.
