We had a few audio problems on the latest Nerds on Draft but we still had our usual good time talking about a ridiculously good coffee porter and how much we use our pocket computers.

My partner for the Nerds on Draft podcast makes his illustreous return in Episode 46. Not only do we talk about a Stickee Monkee but we chat about music services. More importantly, Jeff relays his literal near-death experience that put him in intensive care. Were it not for his iPhone, this episode could have been much more depressing. He’s recovering as quickly as can be expected and this episode was a relief to get out.

On this week’s Nerds on Draft we talk about some of our preferred project management tools and drink a delicious Mono by Stillwater. Of course there’s a lot of jargon and acronyms but we break it down to the basics so that it’s applicable to anyone. After all, pretty much everyone is a project manager for their own life.

I hate cleaning and clutter. Maybe once a year my hate for clutter wins out over my hate for cleaning. On episode 41 of Nerds on Draft, Jeff and I talk the madness that drives us to purge on a seasonal basis. We also enjoy a bottle of Belafonte, one of the best Saison’s you’ll find anywhere.

We recorded last week’s Nerds on Draft a bit early which means pre- Apple Music launch. For me, very little has changed but if you are interested in some alternative ways of accessing music, books, videos and games while you travel this summer, Episode 40 might a good place to start. It also features a phenomenal Imperial Stout that tastes like a port. Tokyo has cranberries and jasmine and is top shelf stuff.

I got a new computer and my Nerds on Draft co-host destroyed an old computer. So we both enjoy a beer and talk about starting from scratch with a new Mac.
